The Consortium for the Protection and Promotion of olio Garda DOP was established to protect and promote a product that embodies quality, tradition, and a deep connection to its territory.
Recognized by the Italian Ministry of Agriculture with Ministerial Decree no. 61983 dated March 18, 2004, the Consortium brings together producers, millers, and bottlers from the three regions overlooking Lake Garda – Lombardy, Veneto, and Trentino-Alto Adige – and from the provinces of Brescia, Mantua, Verona, and Trento.
Its mission is to oversee the proper use of the “Garda” PDO designation, prevent misuse, and promote the authenticity of olio Garda DOP through awareness and educational initiatives.

Promoting olio Garda DOP means safeguarding a remarkable landscape and a centuries-old olive-growing tradition.
The Consortium spreads knowledge about the product through projects developed in collaboration with institutions, chefs, and industry professionals, helping to showcase its sensory qualities and its deep connection to the environment in which it is born.
Thanks to this commitment, olio Garda DOP is now a nationally and internationally recognized excellence — a true ambassador of its territory.
